I received my B.S. in Biology from Nanjing Normal University and completed my Ph.D. in zoology from Peking University in 2013. I visited the metapopulation Research Group in the University of Helsinki in Finland for more than one year from 2009-2011. During my Ph.D research of genetic mechanism of temperature adaptation in different populations of insects, I become more and more interested in population genetics and evolution of genome. Now I am especially interested in the role of small RNA in the evolution of genome.
